I don't know how this journey will end, but let's start at the beginning: breakfast.
I opened the fridge, franticly searching for any food items that I could ingest. But what did I find? Well... I can't have bananas or yogurt. Dang! I searched a little more and found some eggs. Okay. This is good. Alright- I also have carrots. Quick: Lukasz look up carrots and see if it is keto-friendly. Hmm... the carrots are okay- a little on the higher side of the carbs, but they will do. Great! So I start chopping the carrots up to put into the scrambled eggs. What else do we have? Let's put in some kale and cheese and call it good.
So I cook up the carrots and kale then add the eggs (2 for me and 2 for Lukasz). Then at the end I add some cheese. Wow, that actually looks good!

So why is keto good for me? Well, it turns out there has been a study relating the ketogenic diet to positive results with brain cancer patients. Specifically, with the same kind of cancer I have: glioblastoma. Wow. I believe in leading a healthy life and what I put into my body can drastically help with my response to treatment. This is great! And even though my treatment will begin in the very near future, the keto diet can allow me to enter ketosis within 2-4 days. That is AMAZING! So... here we go! Lukasz and I are on the keto diet and there is no looking back!
