The Keto Diet is getting more real!!

Okay... so I started diving into my cookbooks for beginners and man, this stuff can be overwhelming! I found a keto calculator online that will let me calculate my "Macros" (basically the numbers I need to hit for this diet) after imputing certain numbers for my body and the goals I want to achieve.


Now I have started an excel spreadsheet to try and keep everything on track! Oh, my! I am keeping track of my net carbs and also my calories, protein and fats for each food I put into my body. Yikes. I am hoping this will get better as we learn the numbers for each of these food! Lunch was a bit of a pain since that was the first 'real' meal I wanted to count each category and see where I am landing for the day. Overall, I need to hit a ridiculous number for my fat intake, low net carbs (20 grams) and a higher protein value to make sure I am on track. So, we will see!


It is a bit complicated starting out on this but I think it will get easier as we continue with the keto diet!


Afterwards, I had to do an easy workout on the Tonal to de-stress from the keto stuff :)

(also, I apologize for my dirty mirrors, yeah... I need to clean those!)
