With a kitchen scale!!

The ketogenic diet can be overwhelming if you don't have a kitchen scale. It has been a little difficult logging my meals with my keto app and eyeballing the portions when items don't fit into a measuring cup or a tablespoon! So, we finally started looking up kitchen scales last night and I think we found a good one. We will see how it goes over the coming weeks.

But, the Oxo scale sounds like a good deal. It is a little more expensive then a lot of other scales on Amazon (comes in around $50), but it sounds like we get what we pay for (so, hopefully we are paying for the right things!). The shipping was super fast: Prime and overnight delivery by 3 pm! Thank you Seattle!!

The scale switches between units (ounces, pounds, grams and kilograms), has a tare function, is smudge-resistant, and is also easy to clean (the verdict is still out on that one).

The screen where the numbers are displayed can be pulled out in the case there is a large bowl that needs weighing. The unit increments are displayed per 1 gram or 0.1 ounce with a maximum weight of 11 lbs. or 5 kg and includes 4 AAA batteries.

Super stoked to try this scale out! I'll let you know how it goes... I never thought I would be this excited for dinner :)

Wish our scale had a pull out function. Would have eliminated a lot of headache in the past....

Hope it serves you well :)
