Spinach Avocado Smoothie

This smoothie is SOOOO GOOOD!! Everyone should try this!


I used a recipe from one of my cookbooks, but we did not have all the ingredients, so I improvised. (We can try the other smoothie another time--- BUT I don't think it will taste as good!)


Ingredients:


1/2 avocado

1 c. coconut milk (unsweetened)

1 scoop keto-friendly whey protein

1/2 tsp. turmeric powder

1 c. spinach

1 c. kale

1/2 c. ice

pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  1. Add the coconut milk, turmeric, pepper and the keto-friendly protein powder to the blender and blend.

  2. Add one cup spinach and blend. (I like to add one cup of the greens at a time with my blender otherwise my blender will jam.)

  3. Add one cup kale and blend.

  4. Add 1/2 cup ice and blend.

ENJOY!


Servings: 2

Time: about 5 minutes


I am not sure what the nutritional facts are on this smoothie-- I will have to look that up! I can add that info later :)
